The “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs“ (Zentralverband Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe, ZDK) represents the professional interests of 38,000 accredited automotive companies on the national level. The members of the “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs“ are on the one hand organised within 239 guilds and 14 regional organisations as well as within 40 franchised dealers associations on the other hand.
The work of the “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs” includes the modalities of the cooperation between the motor trades and repairs sector and the industry as well as topics with focus on tax, social and transport policy.
Consequently the participation in legal hearings, the work for dealer protection provisions as well as the organisation of educational training and advanced training in the motor trades and repairs sector belong to the main tasks of the “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs”. Within its nationwide public relations work, the “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs“ commits itself to numerous questions with reference to road safety and consumer information.
The “German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs” is furthermore a member of the European association CECRA (Conseil Européen du Commerce et de la Réparation Automobiles) in order to represent the national interests of its members as well on an international level.
