Organisation of our association

The Zentralverband Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe (ZDK) - "German Association for Motor Trade and Repair" - represents the interests of its members at national and international level. The ZDK's European umbrella organisation is CECRA (European Council for Motor Trade and Repair).

15 Laender associations and 46 franchised dealers associations belong to the ZDK. 241 regional associations are organised in the 15 Laender associations. These 241 regional associations represent approx. 40.800 enterprises (dealers and garages).

Primary Objectives

The association protects and promotes the professional, economic and social interests of the motor vehicle trade and repair. With this aim in view, it is among others the task of the association to represent the interests of its members vis-à-vis their business partners, particularly motor vehicle manufacturers and importers, as well as all public and other authorities at national and international level.
